Jess leaves...Nicole is Sad
I'm sad this morning. Sanjay and I took my best friend Jess to the airport to see her off as she serves in the Peace Corps for two years. I can't believe how much my heart hurts. It's not everyday you say goodbye to your best friend for two years. Though I am sad, deep down I truly am proud of her selfless decision and know this is where she is supposed to be in her life.

My heart hurt too friend. But I know it makes us feel better thinking of the greater good, the big picture. Some people 2,000 miles away are hopefully going to have a better life, or at least have a better appreciation for themselves and for Americans because of this, that's worth a little pain a sacrifice on our parts I think, and I know you do too. Tell Peanut I said Hola!
