I am so very happy. Life is great and I love my boys with every inch of my heart. Pax is just perfect and Sanjay is perfect for me. Jessica bought the green St. Patty's Day onsie for Pax even before he was born. It fits him well as he is now in 9 month clothing (even though he is 6 1/2 mo). Pax is now an independent sitter and is very curious about his surroundings. He is interested in feeling textures, hearing new sounds, and even smelling new smells. He is a good sleeper, a good eater and a very happy and healthy baby; what more could I ask for? I am so blessed and so very happy!

Six Month Pics

At six months, Pax is doing so many new tricks. He is sitting up, rolling all over the place, making the funniest noises and faces. He recognizes the sign for milk and scrunches his nose and smiles every time you show him the sign. He is still taking three naps, but I think we are getting very close to two. Bedtime is 7:00pm and he wakes up at 8:00am. He is in size 3 diapers. Pax loves going for walks and loves going for rides in the car. And his newest trick is eating, eating, eating. He loves food and can not get enough. I think he would eat all day long if I let him; he has never once turned his head, spit out his food or shown me signs of him refusing food. He has had peas, acorn squash, whole grain cereal, rice, nanners, and sweet potatoes thus far. Butternut squash, avocado, carrots, and apples are next on the list. At his 6 month appointment, Pax was in the 50th percentile for weight, 50 percentile for his head circumference, 75th percentile for height-long and lean! He also got his shots and I cried more than he did. This time the nurse felt bad and gave me a lollipop. Sanjay won't let me forget that one. Pax only cried for 2 seconds and Sanjay busted out the glow worm and he was content.

Reeve and Maria's Shower and 80's Party

Sanjay's brother, Reeve and Maria are having twin boys! We are so incredibly happy and can't wait to see all three cousins grow up together. Pax was a trooper during the shower. He skipped his long nap and was passed around to just about every table; he never fussed or cried. He is just a tolerable baby. Sanjay was busy videotaping and I was writing down who gave what gifts. Needless to say, Pax was exhausted by the time we got back to Sanjay's parents house.

Then after the shower, my dear friend from High School, Lauren was celebrating her 30th birthday ...80's style. We had so much fun dressing up and celebrating with her. Doesn't everyone wear their father-in-law's socks on their wrist?
