Our Friends Shower

The weekend was so much fun! My dear, sweet friends Jess and Sara threw us the coolest co-ed shower. They both have been planning for months and made the day so special for us. We had a great turnout and it looked like everybody enjoyed themselves. Many of our friends made and brought food. Our wonderful neighbor Krissy even made us a beautiful cake. There was a "Peanut" theme, the favors were cute little blue mesh bags of peanuts, there was a game to guess how many peanuts were in a huge baby bottle, there was a game to help us find a real name for peanut and there was even a 50/50 raffle which our friend Sandy donated to Peanut's college fund. The guys were busy playing cornhole and grilling and stuff. Kudos to Kyle for being the grill Master all day!

At one point I got a little emotional and shed a few tears as it all just hit me; we are going to bring a little guy in this world very soon and there are so many people that really care about him already! It was just such a great day! It was so nice to see everyone and bring others together who haven't seen each other in a long time. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and helped with the event. Jess and Sara you guys are two of my very best friends. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR SPECIAL TIME SO MEMORABLE!
