Three Years Going Strong

While our little baby was snoozing away at home in the care of my mom, Sanjay and I celebrated our three year anniversary. We started by having dinner at Fahrenheit and oh my, was is awesome! Everything was perfect...the appetizer, the food, the wine, the atmosphere, the service, and of course the company. We then went to sneak in a quick kiss at 806, the place where we had our first kiss. We reminisced the night as we each remembered it (funny our stories weren't quite the same, Hee-Hee). Finally, we went to have dessert at the restaurant Sanjay took me to on our first date; it was then called (I can't remember) now it's called Lago. The night ended with us watching our friend Kyle play at the Barking Spider. It was so very nice to have a night out with my hubby, celebrate our love, and actually get through a conversation, even if it did revolve around Pax.

Zoo

My mom, Suba, Kelly, Eric, Rylie, Sanjay, Pax and I had a fun day at the zoo. Pax is a little young to really appreciate the animals, but Rylie was adorable getting so excited about every little thing. Thanks Uncle Eric for putting Paxton's shoe on 1,000 times. Look how much Rylie and Pax love one another. They always have to tickle each other. Sooo cute!

We found this fun boat for Pax at a garage sale and couldn't resist getting it for him. He loves the water.

Problem Solved

Thanks to my sweet friend Gretchan, our little issue is solved. Pax no longer chews on the white paint from the crib, he now has cushin to chew on. Gretchan went to the fabric store, bought fabric and sewed on the rail covers. She sewed on snaps, but then our little Pax figured out how to unsnap them so then she sewed on ties on the inside of the material. So far, so good!

Kiddie Park

My mom told us about this cute little kiddie park called Memphis Kiddie Park. The park is very small and only has rides for small kids. It was perfect for Pax and Rylie. There is no entrance charge, no parking fee and the rides are $1 each.

Fourth of July

In the past, Sanjay and I have been out of the country on fourth of July. This year we had a blast in our neck of the woods. Our friends Lauren and Eric came over in the morning and we walked around Crocker Park celebrating Liberty Fest. It was kind of creepy though as some statue man kept following them around. Later in the evening, we met our friends John and Emily, Brian, Pari, Josiah and Brian's family at the park for some cornhole, picnicking and fireworks. We were out way past Pax's bedtime and he was an angel. He even slept on my lap for most of the fireworks.

Our Nephews Baptism, and Jacob's Graduation

My step brother Jacob is attending Baldwin Wallace College in just a few short weeks. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of the graduate. Here is a picture of my dad holding Pax and a good family friend holding hid granddaughter. It's amazing how children melt men's hearts.

Sanjay was honored to be asked to be Brandon and Christian's God Father. We celebrated the boy's baptism at church and then went to Reeve and Maria's for some food, conversation, and great laughs. Here is a picture of Maria and Christian.
